(CARSONVILLE-PORT SANILAC) — The Carsonville-Port Sanilac School Board voted last Thursday to begin the collaboration between the district and the Sanilac District Library, allowing the elementary library to be open year round for students. The administration is looking into offering free breakfast and free lunch during the summer months along with the new program. In other business, the board accepted the resignation of Varsity Football Coach Tim Brabant and thanked him for his years of service. Joe Rickett was appointed to fill that coaching position. After discussion, the board unanimously agreed to allow the 2016-17 football program to move from the NCTL to the Mid-Thumb League. The move is for the football program only and the agreement is for 1-year.
