(PORT HURON) — Already facing larceny charges, a former Port Huron jeweler may be facing additional charges. Rick Currie was arrested in Florida and extradited back to Port Huron, facing arraignment Thursday afternoon. Authorities said he was expected to be arraigned on six counts of larceny by conversion of more than $20,000, with multiple victims involved in each count. More than $300,000 of jewelry was reported missing by customers after Currie disappeared in early January. Currie, 62, was arrested Feb. 2 near Jasper, Florida, and brought back to Michigan earlier this week. Police said jewelry was found in his vehicle when he was asrrested, but the value was not known.
