William Henry Russell in Concert at the Museum
Port Sanilac, MI – Join us for an afternoon of great live music with William Henry Russell, award winning guitarist and classically trained musician from the Metro Detroit area. Bill is also an established composer and arranger, and the 2009 Gamble Rogers Finger Picking Champion.
He is known for his classical chops and arrangements of popular songs and hymns. Drawing from his vivid imagination, a classical music background, and a love of pop music, Bill has perfected his own distinctive personal style. Expect a performance with a wonderful blend of original compositions, music from the classical repertoire, contemporary arrangements, and traditional Christian Hymns, along with a touch of Chet Atkins.
David Blaine, Sanilac County Historical Society President, says, “Actually, Bill’s style is hard to categorize. Better to be safe and just come see and hear him for yourself! We are certain you’ll agree that William Henry Russell creates a musical experience that touches the listener.”
