The Covenant Regional Thumb Network (CRTN) has recently unveiled a new name for the network, CRTN Health.

The name change follows an expansion of Covenant Medical Center’s Radiation Oncology Service through the opening of a Covenant HealthCare cancer center on the campus of Marlette Regional Hospital, called the CRTN Cancer Care Center.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new center is scheduled to take place at 9am on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2770 Main St, Marlette, MI 48453. This event will be media-only, however, the public is invited to attend a community-wide open house in the spring.

The CRTN Cancer Care Center hopes to extend reliable oncology services to those living in the “Thumb” of Michigan through its collaboration with six independent hospitals and assistance from Covenant HealthCare. The 16,260 square foot facility is the first comprehensive cancer care center located in the region that will provide medical oncology, chemotherapy infusion, and radiation oncology.

Covenant’s coordinated relationship with these Thumb communities aims to ensure that patients receive high quality care delivered by hospitals located close to home.
