Two arrested in Huron County for Sanilac drug charges

The Sanilac County Drug Task Force arrested two suspects Monday on warrants stemming from a February search warrant related to a methamphetamine investigation. After the February search warrant was served in the 4000 block of Wheatland Township’s Stringer Road, DTF members found meth and evidence of the suspects selling the drug, but not the suspects. However, on Monday (May 9), with assistance from the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office and in coordination with their respective Huron County counterparts, DTF members were able to find and pull over the suspects’ car in Huron County’s Sigil Township.

Both suspects were arrested without incident, and are at the Sanilac County Jail to wait for arraignment on drug charges. They may face further charges in Huron County as well, as evidence of meth use was found in the car during the recent traffic stop.
