A Sanilac County man was arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Huron County District Court on a charge of moving violation causing death. Martin Gentner, of Minden City, was charged in the Huron County incident that took place this past June resulting in the death of Mark Prescott of Bad Axe. Prescott, a longtime tennis coach at Bad Axe high school, died after the bicycle he was riding struck a trailer being pulled down the road on Barrie Road near M-53 west of Bad Axe. Police say Prescott was dragged for a distance before the vehicle stopped. According to court records, The Court entered a not guilty plea on behalf of Gentner and set a pre-trial in the case for early December. Bond was set at $3,500 hundred dollars-personal recognizance.
