Police investigae accident
(MARLETTE TOWNSHIP) – One person sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle personal injury accident in Sanilac County’s Marlette Township Thursday afternoon.
According to the Sanilac County Sheriff Department, deputies responded to a report of a rollover accident around 4:00 P.M. on Koylette Road near Marlette Road.
Investigators say a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am operated by a 17-year-old Marlette female was traveling south on Koylette Road and lost control of the vehicle.
The female attempted to regain control, but was unable to, causing the vehicle to rollover and come to rest in the ditch.
The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was treated on scene for minor injuries and released by Marlette EMS.
Deputies were assisted on scene by the Marlette Fire Department.
