As winds crank up and winter weather makes another appearance in the area, more than 4,000 DTE Energy customers are without power in the area.
According to the company’s power outage map, over 1,100 customers have been without power since shortly after 7:15 a.m. in St. Clair County’s Kimball Township between Lapeer and Ravenswood Road and between I-94 and just west of Wadhams Road north of Griswold.
Another 127 customers are without power further west in the county.
Nearly 800 customers are without power in the Grant and Burtchville townships area, just north of Jeddo and South of Cole Roads with another 2,000 customers without power in Berlin and Armada townships.
