A 61-year old Peck woman pleaded to an additional third charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder when she appeared in Sanilac County Circuit Court last week. The woman will be sentenced in February according to court recordss. Originally charged with assault with intent to commit murder and assault with a weapon, those charges are to be dropped at sentencing, as part of a plea agreement with the Prosecutors Office. The charge is in connection with the alleged stabbing of her son in law in the 6500 block of Paldi Road in Speaker Township in July.
