Sanilac County voters will be going to the polls in a few weeks, choosing candidates for school boards and city councils. According to filings with the Sanilac County Clerk’s Office, a race in the Croswell-Lexington school district, where four candidates are running for three open seats are among several ballot issues for school voters. Two incumbents are facing two challengers, all seeking the six-year terms. Meanwhile, the Brown City school board has three incumbents seeking re-election to four-year terms and are challenged by two newcomers. Sandusky city council has three incumbents seeking re-election and are facing opposition by at least one newcomer.
