19-year old Mack Kuefler, of Port Huron, has been charged with felony firearms and assault with intent to murder according to documents filed in St. Clair County. Police responded to Kuefler’s father’s home in the 2600 block of Oak Street in Port Huron Township September 30th after receiving a report of a shooting. The father was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the face while Kuefler fled police for nine days before being arrested. At the time of his arrest, police from multiple agencies surrounded a house on 11th Street and saw the suspect looking out an upstairs window. Kuefler is lodged in the St. Clair County jail awaiting court appearances.
