(SANDUSKY) – Sanilac County Clerk Denise McGuire has received permission from the State of Michigan to conduct the requested recount, following the August Primary.
Incumbent Board of Commission member Paul Muxlow made the request earlier this month, after losing his place on the board by six votes.
McGuire said the Sanilac County Board of Canvassers will hold a Special Meeting Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Country Training Room at 95 Dawson Street for the purpose of conducting a recount of District 5 voting results.
