Despite on-going issues between the State of Michigan and a previous car dealership in Port Huron, a Sanilac County dealership is working to re-open the doors of their second location. Authorities from Heely’s Auto in Croswell, said the dealer is leasing the former Kelly’s Cars on Pine Grove Ave. Heely’s is hoping to get a certificate of business by later in June, in time for the Blue Water Cruise Night. Heely’s, who has been in Croswell for the past 10 years, plans to hire around 15 employees. The State has received numerous calls regarding titling issues with the previous owner.
