Body of Sandusky Man Discovered by Children (Updated)

(UPDATED WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28TH) – The 48-year old man found dead in the Port Huron area over the weekend has been identified by family members as Christopher Taylor of Sandusky. Police believe Taylor walked away from a Port Huron hospital on Saturday and was found deceased sometime Sunday.

Family members searched for Taylor, along with police, once he was reported missing. His body was found in a back yard of a Kimball Township home by children outside playing.

(ORIGINAL STORY) – Children playing in a yard in St. Clair County’s Kimball Township had quite a scare Sunday afternoon. According to the St. Clair County Sheriff department, the children discovered the body of a 48-year old Sandusky man shortly after 1 p.m.

Authorities said the sheriff department received a call about an unidentified man sitting in a yard behind a garage. The man’s name is not being released until family receives notification.

On Saturday, the man had been reported to have walked away from a local hospital, but could not be located by authorities. The incident remains under investigation.
