The Brown City volleyball team advanced to the Class C district semi-finals with a three-game win over Sandusky Monday night in Brown City. The Green Devils beat Sandusky 25-22, 25-22, 25-12. Ann Schlaud led the way for the winners with 18 kills and hit .250 hitting while junior Kendal Muxlow had 15 kills and hit .448. Alexis Wiltse chipped in with 29 assists. Senior Haley Nelson led Sandusky with 8 points, 7 kills and 5 blocks and Marisa Schiller tallied 6 points and had 3 blocks. Brown City is now 30-9-6 and will face Dryden Wednesday night in Brown City beginning at 6 p.m.
