Two vehicles collided in Huron County
(Huron County) -A head-on collision around 5 p.m. Thursday in Huron County’s Brookfield Township claimed the life of a 67-year old Millington man. According to Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson, a pickup truck and a SUV collided near the intersection of Owendale and Rescue Road after the driver of the truck, 29-year old Jameson Bruce of Lapeer, crossed the centerline.
The driver of the SUV, Donald June, was freed from t he wreckage by the Owendale fire department Jaws of Life and rushed to Schurer Hospital in Pigeon where he was pronounced dead.
The accident remains under investigation.
