Sanilac County Board of Commission Chairman John Hoffman presents Sheriff Garry Biniecki a resolution honoring the Sheriff Posse for 50 years of service
The Sanilac County Sheriff Department Posse is the longest serving Posse in the area, having served the community for 50 years. Sanilac County Board of Commission Chairman John Hoffman presented the Sheriff Department with a resolution Tuesday afternoon, honoring the Posse for their years of service that started in September of 1967. A benefit ride, sponsored by the Posse, is being planned for August 13th and is the 14th year the group has raised funds for various needy causes.
