A 39-year career in education, with more than seven of those in the Sandusky school district, came to an emotional end for Michael Carmean last week when he attended his final school board meeting in the district. The board also approved a 2.75 raise in the third year of a contract with support staff and gave one-year extensions on contracts for the Business Manager and the district’s two principals. Two teacher resignations, one with 28 years of service and the other with 30 years, were accepted.
