(Port Huron) The St. Clair County Drug Task Force continues to put pressure on drug dealers as evidenced by members of the DTF this week when they executed a pair of search warrants over a 24 hour period.
According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, investigations into the sales of narcotics in the Port Huron area led to a raid at a home in the 2200 block of Griswold Street in the city of Port Huron at about 9:30 Monday night.
Once inside, members of the DTF located and seized about $1200 worth of crystal methamphetamine, $200 worth of heroin, analogue pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, cash and cell phones.
Three people were arrested at the home. A 35 year old Port Huron man is expected to face charges including possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver crystal methamphetamine, possession of analogue pills and a parole violation.
A 19 year old man from Port Huron faces charges of possession of marijuana and carrying concealed weapon violation, while a 29 year old Port Huron man was picked up on an outstanding warrant.
On Tuesday afternoon at about 3:30, the DTF executed a search warrant at Village Manor Apartments in Port Huron. Heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and drug packaging materials were seized at the apartment.
Drug Task Force members also found and seized several bottles of stolen liquor and multiple other stolen items.
Arrested were two Port Huron women, ages 27 and 23, and a 17 year old male from Detroit.
They face charges including possession of heroin, possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house.
The Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau is investigating the stolen items located at the apartment.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and Port Huron Police Road Patrol assisted in the investigations.
