Police investigate breaking and entering
(Lexington Heights) – Authorities are searching for a suspect who may have been involved in a breaking and entering Wednesday morning. Sanilac County Undersheriff Brad Roff said deputies are combing the area in search of the suspect in the Lexington Heights area. Roff said a man forced entry into an apartment in the 7000 block of Lakeshore Road about 8 a.m. while a resident was inside.
Roff said the woman startled the suspect, and he in turn startled her and fled the scene on foot. The Undersheriff said there are no new leads and deputies continue to patrol the area.
