Based on advice from their city attorney, Brown City officials have elected to take a wait and see attitude towards an issue they have been struggling with for weeks. At their meeting late last month, council decided to not take any action on a proposed medical marijuana dispensary. After hearing comments from both sides of the issue, council said they will not be taking any action until they are notified by their city attorney that state rules and regulations governing medical marijuana dispensaries has been finalized.
