Monday morning, Sanilac County sheriff deputies responded to a report of a one vehicle accident in Austin Township. According to police, a 30-year old Ubly woman was driving her Ford Explorer east on Bay City Forestville Road, near Verona Road, around 9:45 a.m. when she left the roadway, entered a ditch and struck an embankment causing her vehicle to go airborne. The unidentified driver was the only person in the vehicle.
The woman was transported to Huron Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted on scene by Bingham Township Fire and Bingham EMS and MMR EMS.
