(Marlette) – Members of the Sanilac Drug Task Force executed a search warrant shortly after 11 PM in the 6600 block of Lilac Drive in the City of Marlette Thursday night. The search warrant resulted in seizure of crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, including packaging for sales, weight scales, and approximately $450 in cash that was located with the drugs. A 32 year old male and 43 year old female Marlette couple were taken into custody, booked and released on bond for charges related to the illegal drugs. The Task Force was assisted on scene by the Marlette Police Department, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office K-9, and the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Services. Further investigation with the assistance of the Marlette Police Department is ongoing.
