(ATTICA TWP) — Authorities say a Lapeer County man has died from injuries sustained in an ORV accident last week. Lapeer County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a private address on Mountain Drive in Attica Township shortly after 6:30 Friday evening. Investigation found that 33-year old Manuel Felix of Attica was operating a Suzuki ORV and performing wheelies when the vehicle overturned. Felix was ejected from the ORV and landed on the asphalt. He was not wearing a helmet. Felix was transported to McLaren Lapeer Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries Tuesday evening. Police say alcohol was a factor in the accident.
