Troopers from the Michigan State Police Caro Post arrived at a pasture in the area of Ringle and Ball roads Friday afternoon after receiving a call from the property owner. An investigation found that a vehicle had intentionally hit the calves after driving through an electric fence sometime between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Friday. Troopers recovered damaged vehicle parts at the scene and determined that the suspect was likely driving an older Ford pickup or Explorer.
