(LAPEER COUNTY) — The Michigan Department of Transportation will be completing paint repairs on M-53 over I-69 in Lapeer County beginning Wednesday, August 31. The work is being completed under contractor warranty and will extend the life of the bridge. Motorists should expect single-lane closures on I-69 to accommodate the work under M-53, which is scheduled to be complete by tomorrow, Thursday, September 1.
