(WORTH TOWNSHIP) — MDOT is set to replace the M-25 bridge over Mill Creek south of Lexington in Worth Township later this month. Beginning Monday, August 8, crews will start necessary water main work near the bridge approach. Traffic to the bridge will be maintained with lane shifts and closures. Beginning Monday, August 22, a full detour will be required. Southbound M-25 traffic will take M-90 west in Lexington, Wildcat Road south, and Galbraith Line Road east to M-25. Northbound traffic will take the same route heading west on Galbraith Line Road, north on Wildcat, and then east on M-90 to M-25 in Lexington. The new bridge is expected to be open to traffic in November.
