LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – The foundation of late talk show host Johnny Carson has announced a $20 million gift to the University of Nebraska. The money will help create an academic program and facility focused on emerging media at the Lincoln branch of the Nebraska university system. The money will help create the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts. Carson attended the university before becoming the long-running host of NBC’s “The Tonight Show.”
