November 16, 2020 @ 8:00 am - January 3, 2021 @ 5:00 pm

The Sanilac County Historical Society recently created a Halloween “I Spy” window at the Museum.  It was so well appreciated by the community, the the SCHS) has decided to create a new “I Spy” window for Christmas.  All elementary  school-aged children are invited to make a homemade ornament to decorate the Christmas tree in the window.

All ornaments should be homemade and delivered to the Museum between November 16th and December 4th.  If the office is not open, ornaments can be left inside the painted mailbox at the green side door to the Mansion/Museum. The child’s name, age, and phone number should be included with the ornaments.

The “I Spy” Christmas window will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from November 27th through January 3rd.  The community will be invited to vote on their favorite ornaments (s) from December 5th – 22nd.  Voters will need a dollar bill for each vote cast, and all donations will benefit the SCHS.  The winners will be announced on December 23rd and the three ornaments with the most votes will be awarded a special certificate.
