Detectives ask for public’s help in locating suspect in multiple breaking and enterings

Detectives from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect accused of smashing windows and breaking in to three separate locations over the past three weeks. According to detectives, the suspect first broke in to New Life Christian Academy in Kimball Township during the early morning hours of October 22nd after throwing a large rock through the front windows. The suspect struck again during the early morning hours of October 29th, this time smashing windows and entering the 5/3 Bank branch at the corner of Lapeer and Wadhams Road. Early this (Monday) morning, the vandal was seen smashing windows at the Kimball Township Offices before escaping on a four-wheeler. Deputies were unsuccessful in stopping the suspect, who eluded authorities by travelling through back yards. A photo of the suspect taken by security cameras has been posted on the Sanilac Broadcasting website.
