Several drug raids in St. Clair County nets illegal drugs

(PORT HURON) — Several people were arrested and illegal drugs were taken off the streets after St. Clair County Drug Task Force officers executed three raids Monday night. The first was a traffic stop at Lapeer and 16th Street in Port Huron just before 8 p.m., which led to a raid at a home in the 4000 block of Lapeer Road in Port Huron Township. Between the stop and raid, officers seized $400 worth of crack cocaine, $500 worth of heroin, drug paraphernalia, cash and cell phones. Two Port Huron men, ages 29 and 30, were arrested and face several drug related charges. The second warrant was executed just after 9:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Gratiot in Marysville. During the search, officers seized heroin, drug paraphernalia, cell phones and cash. A 30-year old woman and 29-year old man, both from Port Huron, were arrested. Tuesday morning at 1:45 a.m., a third warrant was executed at a home in the 3300 block of Military Street in Port Huron where $2,500 worth of heroin, $1,600 worth of crack cocaine, marijuana, cash, drug paraphernalia, and cell phones were confiscated. A 34-year old Detroit man and 29-year old man from Port Huron were arrested.
