Lions Charter New Club in Frieburg

(FRIEBURG) — A new Lions club comes to Frieburg on April 3 when 25 men and women celebrate charter night of the Frieburg Saint Ignatius Lions Club at the Saint Joseph Parish Hall in Argyle at 1 p.m. During the ceremonies, District Governor Justin Faber, will present the members of the new club with their official charter. Members of the Ubly Lions Club, who sponsored the formation of the Frieburg Saint Ignatius Lions Club, will also be on hand to congratulate members of the new club. The Frieburg Saint Ignatius Lions Club plans to become involved with helping those in need in the Frieburg area and meet on the first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Saint Ignatius Parish Hall. Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs. Since 1917, Lions clubs have aided the blind and visually impaired and made a strong commitment to community service and serving youth throughout the world.
