(AREA) — The America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders program, sponsored by Monsanto Fund, awards more than $500,000 in college scholarships annually to students pursuing ag-related degrees. Through the program, farmers can help keep rural youth involved in agriculture by endorsing scholarship applications for deserving students they know. America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders is offering $1,500 college scholarships to high school seniors and college students pursuing a career in agriculture. The National FFA Organization administers the program, but students do not have to be an FFA member to apply. Applications are available through February 1, 2016.
