Sandusky Lighted Farm Implement Parade Buttons on sale Friday, Nov. 20

(SANDUSKY) — The Sandusky Country Christmas Lighted Farm Implement Parade buttons will be sold this Friday, November 20. The winning design was submitted by Sandusky High School student Logan Hughes. Volunteers will be at the four corners of M-19 and M-46 throughout the day and also at Jerry’s Foodland.

Many events are planned for this year’s Christmas celebration in Sandusky. On Friday, December 4, the Tree Lighting Ceremony on the courthouse lawn at 7 p.m. with an open skate at the Colleen J. Howe Arena at the fairgrounds also starting at 7 p.m.

Michigan’s Original Lighted Farm Implement Parade is Saturday, December 5 at 7 p.m. The parade route will start at the Sandusky High School and head north on M-19 to M-46, turn east at M-46 and then south on Campbell Road. Santa will be at the gazebo on the courthouse lawn Saturday, December 5 from 3-6 p.m. Children’s activities will be going on at local businesses and the Sandusky Band Country Christmas Craft and Vendor Show at the Elementary School will run from 10-3 p.m. A soup and chili supper will be held at the First United Methodist Church from 4:30-6:30 p.m., snacks and refreshments will be available at the Sandusky Fire Hall at 5 p.m. and bean soup and chili will be served in front of Key’s Radio beginning at 7 p.m., courtesy of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
