With manufacturing costs directly impacted by inflation, further decline in vehicle build, supply chain disruptions and delays to the electrification timeline, Vibracoustic has announced the closing of their Sandusky work site in 2026.
All Sandusky employees were informed of the decision during an in-person town hall meeting on Wednesday, May 21. The company has decided to end production at the Sandusky site by the end of Quarter 2 of 2026, with production transferred to other Vibracoustic sites.
The company pledged via press release to work closely with over 150 employees at the Sandusky site, identifying other employment opportunities including jobs at other Vibracoustic locations.
