In addition to receiving presentations from the county’s drug task force and health department, the Sanilac County Board of Commissioners plan to interview and appoint four people to Sanilac Transportation’s Local Advisory Council at next Tuesday’s meeting.
The May 20th meeting’s agenda reports that Stacy Deriso, Kellie Paehlig, Nancy Tezak and Kim Thompson will be interviewed by commissioners for the two-year term, expiring June 1, 2027.
The board also plans to appoint District 3 Commissioner Gary Heberling to the Multi-County Materials Management Board.
General resolutions the board plan to approve at Tuesday’s meeting includes a resolution reaffirming Sanilac County’s participation in the Thumb Area Regional Community Corrections Fiscal Year 2026 Community Corrections Grant Application, for the period of October 10, 2025 through September 30, 2026.
