A woman from the Upper Peninsula was recently arraigned in St. Clair County District Court for harassing multiple area residents with eavesdropping devices and other stalking behaviors.

The harassment had been an ongoing issue, despite victims attempting to block all contact with 32-year-old Amber Huntington. Huntington was recently taken into custody following an investigation on Sunday, April 24, into another incident allegedly involving Huntington.

St. Clair County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Dietz was able to make contact with Michigan State Police at Delta County’s Gladstone Post, where Huntington was supposedly staying. With the help of the Michigan State Police, Huntington was taken into custody, and was later arraigned on the six felony charges and eight misdemeanors on April 26, 2026 in 72nd District Court after being transported to St. Clair County from the UP by deputies.

Huntington’s felony charges include two counts of eavesdropping, one count of installing an eavesdropping device, one count of identity theft, and one count of possessing a Personal ID with intent to commit ID theft, while her misdemeanor charges include two counts of stalking, four counts of using a computer to commit a crime, and two counts of malicious use of a telecommunication device.
