
McKenzie Health System will continue the 2026 Healthy Living Together educational series with a February session focused on women’s health and wellness.
The event, titled “Menopause Matters: Thriving Through the Change,” will be presented by Trisha Ameel, Family Nurse Practitioner at McKenzie Health System. The session will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Participants will learn about the physical and emotional changes associated with menopause, common symptoms, treatment options, and practical strategies for maintaining health and quality of life during this transition.
The Healthy Living Together series provides free, monthly educational opportunities designed to support the health and wellness of individuals and families in Sanilac County and beyond. Each session is offered in person from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the McKenzie Dining Room, with a virtual option available. All sessions are open to the public and free to attend. Healthy Living Together is a collaborative project developed by McKenzie Health System in partnership with the Sanilac County Health Department, MSU Extension, Great Start Collaborative Sanilac, and Sanilac County Community Mental Health.
