Port Huron Police report that Thursday’s two shooting victims are in stable condition, while their father, the case’s main suspect, awaits arraignment next week.
The suspect, a 44-year-old Port Huron man, is currently lodged at the St. Clair County Jail on an unrelated warrant, awaiting arraignment. At this time, the arraignment is anticipated to take place on Tuesday, September 16th. The two shooting victims, a 12-year-old girl and 13-year-old boy, remain in stable condition, with the boy’s condition reportedly improving.
In addition to wounding the two children, Thursday’s shooting also killed the children’s 17-year-old brother.
The case began on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 6:10 a.m., when Port Huron Police responded to the 2800 block of Glenview Court following multiple 911 calls reporting that individuals had been shot. Officers arrived and located three victims, all under the age of 18, suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately provided emergency medical aid before the victims were transported to local hospitals, with the 17-year-old pronounced deceased and his younger siblings transferred to Detroit-area hospitals for further treatment.
The suspect, the 44-year-old father of the victims, was taken into custody at the scene without incident. Preliminary investigation indicates this was a domestic-related incident. This remains an active and ongoing investigation, and additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
