(SANILAC COUNTY) – Emergency personnel from multiple agencies in Sanilac County have responded to a report of a serious traffic crash near the intersection of Sanilac Ave (M-46) and Isles Road. Sheriff deputies have reported at least four victims and requested to have M-46 shut down Ubly Road and Hull Road while accident clean-up and investigation continues. According to radio traffic, multiple vehicles are reported to have been involved.
Medical personnel have also requested a medical helicopter fly to McKenzie Health System to transport at least one victim. Multiple Sanilac and Marlette EMS units have responded to the scene while Moore Township fire department firefighters are also assisting deputies. Sandusky fire department has also been called to McKenzie to help prepare the parking lot for landing the helicopter.
