Multiple arrests; drugs seized in Port Huron drug bust

11 people were taken into custody by the St. Clair County Sheriff Department Tuesday night, following a raid of a Port Huron home that netted over $31,000 dollars worth of drugs. According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the department’s Drug Task Force team and other law enforcement raided the home in the 2500 block of Vaness Street around 7 p.m. DTF agents discovered a large amount of cash, drugs and weapons in the raid. Nine men, ranging in ages from 17-24 years old and two teens, a 14 and 16 year old were apprehended by deputies and investigators. Sheriff Donnellon said $30,000 worth of meth, along with another $900 dollars of ecstasy, $400 dollars of crack cocaine and $300 dollars of analogue pills were seized. Also recovered in the raid was an undisclosed amount of cash, weapons including two hand guns, a rifle and sawed off shotgun and drug paraphernalia. The adults were lodged in jail and awaiting arraignment on multiple drug charges while the teens were placed in Juvenile custody. The case remains under investigation.
