(SANDUSKY) – The Sanilac County Board of Canvassers completed their recount of District 5 for County Commissioner Tuesday afternoon.
Incumbent Paul Muxlow had filed for the recount, after losing the Primary in August by six votes.
County Clerk Denise McGuire said the audit of the new voting equipment went very well and produced one slight change, but the same outcome.
Despite one more vote tallied for Muxlow, Joel Wyatt still wins the election by a count of 662 to 657.
