(SANILAC COUNTY) – A 73-year old Croswell woman was injured in a one vehicle rollover accident in Sanilac County’s Buel Township around 6 p.m. Monday. The Sanilac County sheriff department had received a report of a woman driving erratically on M-25, near Galbraith Line Road.
County and local officers searched for the vehicle, finding it rolled over in a ditch on Hall Road, with the woman trapped inside. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was freed by the Croswell Fire Department and transported by EMS to McLaren Hospital in Port Huron for treatment of her injuries.
Police said charges are being sought on the driver, and they believe alcohol was a factor in this accident.
