Lapeer County sheriff deputies are searching for a reported missing classic vehicle that the owner claims happened earlier this month. Bruce Thouin told deputies he was driving his 1971 Pontiac Lemans when it broke down along a roadway. Suspecting he had problems with the car’s carburetor, he left the vehicle to seek assistance. When he returned, he told police the vehicle was missing, although he wasn’t clear on it’s exact location. Anyone with information on the missing car is asked to call police at 810-245-1374.
