Sanilac Deputies investigate two accidents

Sanilac County Sheriff Deputies are investigating a one-vehicle rollover accident that happened Monday afternoon around 2 p.m. Deputies said a 64-year old Harbor Beach man was traveling on Lakeshore Road, near County Line when he lost control on the slippery roadway and went into a ditch. He was treated and released on the scene, but a 57-year old Harbor Beach woman was taken by EMS to Harbor Beach Community hospital for treatment of her injuries. A third person, a 27-year old Deckerville female passenger was uninjured.
In another accident being investigated, deputies were called to the scene of a one vehicle accident around 5 p.m. Monday in Maple Valley Township. Deputies said a 55-year old Brown City woman was eastbound on Galbraith Line, near Bailey Road when she lost control on the slippery road.
Her vehicle rolled over and landed in a ditch. The victim was treated by EMS on the scene and later sought further treatment at McLaren Port Huron. Police said she was wearing a seatbelt at the time on the accident.
