An Oklahoma man spent some time dangling from his safety rope when he slipped while doing maintenance on a wind turbine in Sheridan Township. Bingham fire department was called to the scene on Bad Axe Road just before 12 noon Friday, along with Bingham EMS. The Sigel Township Rescue team trained in aerial and confined spaces rescue responded, but workers from the company were able to safely lower him to the ground. The man was not injured. The turbine is part of Excellon wind energy.
