The Croswell-Lexington Board of Education is accepting applications to fill an open seat on the board. Due to recent election results and a board member appointment, district officials said they will accept applications until January 10th. The board is seeking a qualified and interested member who resides in the school district. All applicants are to submit their letter to the district no later than 4 p.m. next Tuesday.
Appointment to the board will be determined by the majority vote of current board members. According to a press release from the district, the board will fill the vacancy at their meeting on January 17th. The successful candidate will hold the position until December 31, 2018.
