Sanilac County Museum a busy place

(Port Sanilac) – The Sanilac County Museum is the place to be if you are feeling the need to get in the holiday spirit. Help is welcome to decorate the Museum Mansion for the holidays Friday, and again next week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 4pm. Volunteers are encouraged to come and help get into the holiday spirit while getting ready for the Museum Open House and Victorian dinner. In other Museum news, the Museum Church will host a Gales of November concert Sunday, with performances by Bear Berends and Banjo Jim of the “Blue Water Ramblers”. The opening set performance of by “Ourselves,” performed by the Tom Schlichting Trio, will begin at 3:00 p.m. The concert will feature ‘work songs and wreck songs’ of Great Lakes sailors as well as sailing songs from the Great Storm of 1913.
