(AREA) — Sanilac Great Start Collaborative is hosting a community brunch on Tuesday, November 17 at the Sandusky VFW Hall from 9:30 a.m.-Noon. Several non-profit agencies in the county will have a display set up featuring their good works and will offer a 3-minute presentation on what they do to support the community.The non-profit receiving the most votes from attendees will receive $1,000. The brunch is free, but attendees must register by calling Karolyn McEntee at 810-648-2200 ext. 4108. For the past 7-years, Sanilac Great Start Collaborative has strived to assure that every child in Sanilac County is safe, healthy and ready to succeed in school when starting Kindergarten. Great Start Collaborative members want to celebrate the many “Good Works” that community organizations do to support families and their younger children.
