(MARLETTE) — Betty D’Arcy and Kristen Behnke were contenders for the first ever bake-off throw-down at the Hannah D. Wolfe Retirement Residence in Marlette on Wednesday, October 21–competing for the title for “Best Dessert.” Betty’s entry was her famous apple crisp and Kristen made her banana cake with cream cheese frosting. The residents of Hannah Wolfe and students of the Marlette High School National Honor Society voted. Betty took first place and Kristen came in close second.
